Hotel Okura Tokyo’s new main building will inherit traditional Japanese beauty of the old main building, while offering the guest rooms with expanded floor space and latest equipment. The iconic interior decorations representing Hotel Okura Tokyo, such as the distinctive hexagonal Okura Lantern ceiling lights and lacquered tables and chairs arranged like plum flowers, will be reprised in the lobby of the Hotel Okura Tokyo’s new main building.
As a member of the Okura reconstruction project team, Hotel Okura selected Yoshio Taniguchi, the son of modernist architect Yoshiro Taniguchi, who designed the original Okura main building.

Important notes
- Prize winners will be notified by the receipt of their prize, which will be sent to their registered address at the end of November 2016 (Prizes A, B and D). Point prizes (Prize C) will be added directly to the winner’s account.
- For the Prize A, winners will be informed of details, such as the available period of use and type of room, as these details are determined.
- For the Prize B, period of validity will be one year, from December 1, 2016 through November 30, 2017.
- For both the Prizes A and B, there will be certain dates excluded, such as the Christmas and New Year season. In addition, please be aware that it may not be possible to obtain a reservation for a desired date, depending on room availability.
- Guests will be responsible for all travel expenses to the participating hotel when using the Prizes A or B.
